Exclusive Print - House of Bwokie - Irish (LOSFM)
💚 WHY DO YOU CALL IT A “HYBRID”?
This nappy is primarily a Large OSFM, but it also has an optional parent pull-up/down function, and may be used to assist in TT.
💚 WHAT FEATURES DOES IT HAVE?
The Irish has the following features:
•Sports Performance Hip Panels - this will have the HoB logo printed on and will be in place of the usual nappy logo.
•Cased Back Elastics
•Cased Leg Elastics
•3 Tower Rise Snaps
•3 Snap wings
•A Sewn in Booster
💚 WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT TO OTHER LOSFM?
The sports performance hip panels allow for a generous stretch while still giving a firm and comfortable fit when used as both a pull up and a LOSFM.
The sewn in booster provides some absorbency without having loose inserts when used as a pull up.
💚 WILL MY CHILD BE ABLE TO PULL THEM UP?
Unlike disposable and other pull ups, these nappies aren’t specifically designed for the child to pull them up/down themselves (tho some I’m sure will be able to!).
💚 WHAT INSERTS WILL I GET WITH IT?
The Irish has a sewn in booster, but also comes with the standard HoB extra long snake, made of 2 layers of 500gsm bamboo fleece, topped with suede cloth.
💚 HOW ABSORBENT ARE THEY?
The length of the snake insert allows it to be folded to cater to most absorbency requirements;
With the extra sewn in booster as well the folding of long anchor in 3, plenty of absorbency lasting between 3-6 hours depending on wetter.
When used as a pull-up you can remove the snake and the sewn in booster is sufficient to hold 1 decent wee without leaks (only wet to touch).
💚 HOW SHOULD IT BE FITTED?
These nappies are designed to be a very relaxed (loose!) fit and the sports performance panels should not be stretched when putting on.
The SP panels and tummy elastics together give a very soft fit all the way around.
The cased leg elastics together with the rise snaps create a great leg seal.
When used as a pull up you will need to re fit it to be a little looser on the waist, and snapped lower down to cater to not having the snake insert in.
You may find the best fit on the top rise as a LOSFM and lowest rise as a pull up ☺️
